Yiddish song that I arragned for the Earlham College Concert Choir when I was a student at Earlham. I conducted this performance.

Performed by the Penn State Chamber Singers, this is a setting by the Irish poet A.E. This was part of a set of three pieces. Similar groups of works centered on singular poets include works by Sarah Collins Fernandis and the Israeli poet Haim Gouri.
All Alone
Co-written by Doug Fried, this is a bit of tribute in an oblique way to Harry Partch - not musically, but in its spirit.

An attempt at melancholy from many years ago.

The subtitle of this piece is/was George Bush Sucks. It was written just as he took office, and proved sadly prophetic.
